This library of articles is intended to act as a supporting document for students, who are interested in geo-engineering, especially in rock mechanics. It is not the aim to cover the topic "Geomechanics" in an exhausted manner, but to provide knowledge about selected topics at an introductory level.
This electronic text book is freeware, that means: it can be used free of charge, but it should be correctly referenced / cited, whenever parts of the content are used. Please note that this book is only for private and internal use.
This textbook is a "dynamic" one, in the sense, that content will continuously be updated and extended (the number behind the title indicates the current version and the number of downloads is also related to the current version only).
